Step into the magical world of Cave Mages, a thrilling dungeon crawler where you can play as a variety of powerful mages, each with unique abilities. Battle through relentless waves of enemies and difficult bosses, managing your mana and resources to emerge victorious.

Features:

Choose Your Mage:

• Select your mage, each with a unique ability tailored to different playstyles. Find the one that suits you best and master its powers.

Mana Management:

• Mana regenerates over time. Both shooting and using abilities consume mana, so manage it wisely to ensure you have enough for critical moments.

Fighting Enemies:

• Face waves of enemies, including powerful bosses. Defeated enemies drop experience points (XP), which you can collect to upgrade your mage or purchase totems.
• After clearing all enemies in a wave, exit the room to replenish your health and shield for the next wave.

Mage Upgrades:

• Upon exiting a room, choose from four randomized upgrades. Purchase one upgrade per wave using XP to enhance your abilities and combat effectiveness.

Chests:

• Up to three chests spawn each wave, containing potions that provide various buffs and benefits. Beware of fake chests that may be harmful.

Potions:

• Different types of potions offer specific benefits:
  • Health Potion: Instantly heals the player.
  • Shield Potion: Instantly shields the player.
  • Health Regen Potion: Heals the player over time.
  • Mana Regen Potion: Regenerates mana over time.
  • Damage Buff Potion: Temporarily increases damage output.
• All potions can be upgraded for enhanced effects.

Pads:

• Health Pad: Heals the player over time. Can be upgraded.
• Shield Pad: Shields the player over time. Can be upgraded.
• Deployable Pad: Allows the deployment of totems, costing XP.

Totems:

• Fire Totem: Attacks the closest enemy within range.
• Totem of Life: Fires healing shots that follow and heal the player (does not heal shield).
• Mana Totem: Fires mana shots that follow and replenish the players mana. 
• Fire Rate Totem: When within range, the player will experience increased fire rate. 
• Speed Totem: When within range, the player will experience increased speed.
• Fortune Totem: Enemies in range drop bonus XP.

*All totems can be upgraded

Explosive Barrels:

• Can be pushed by pressing 'F' and do significantly more damage to bosses.

Victory and Defeat:

• Defeat the final boss on wave 15 to achieve victory.
• The game ends in defeat when your health reaches zero.

• Manage your mana efficiently to ensure you have enough for both attacks and abilities.
• Choose upgrades that complement your playstyle and current needs.
• Use potions and pads effectively to stay in top condition during battles.
